Insurance Agency 911 was founded on July 4, 2026, by Christopher P. Clinton, CPCU, with a simple mission: to help small independent insurance agencies thrive in an increasingly complex and competitive insurance marketplace. Drawing on more than 45 years of industry experience, Chris established Insurance Agency 911 to provide practical, hands-on operational support, producer development, and agency consulting tailored to the unique needs of independent agencies.

Chris is currently licensed in North Carolina in Property, Casualty, Life, Accident & Health (or Sickness), and Medicare Supplement/Long-Term Care insurance.

Our Story

  • Growing up in family agency

    Chris grew up in a family-owned independent insurance agency, where he learned the value of exceptional customer service, hard work, and agency operations from an early age. Those experiences inspired a lifelong career in the insurance profession.

  • Insurance degree

    He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a specialization in Insurance from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio, and later earned the industry’s Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation.

  • Carrier leadership

    Throughout his career, Chris has gained extensive experience from both the carrier and agency perspectives. He spent the majority of his career with insurance companies, holding leadership positions in marketing, agency relations, commercial lines underwriting, and product development. During the past decade, he has also worked directly with independent agencies in the Life and Health insurance sectors and spent four years with a national insurance aggregator, where he recruited, trained, and developed startup agencies as well as agencies seeking expanded market access.

  • Agency consulting

    Chris also served for several years on the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America (IIABA) National Best Practices Committee, contributing to initiatives that promote operational excellence and long-term success within the independent agency system.

    His unique combination of carrier leadership, agency management, producer development, underwriting expertise, and operational consulting provides clients with practical solutions grounded in real-world experience. This broad perspective enables him to understand the challenges agencies face and deliver meaningful, results-oriented support.

To strengthen small independent insurance agencies throughout Central North Carolina by providing dependable, professional temporary staffing support and practical sales development.

We are committed to helping agencies maintain exceptional customer service and operational continuity during employee vacations, unexpected absences, staffing shortages, and other transitional periods by supplying experienced, licensed insurance professionals when they are needed most. In addition, we equip newer licensed agents with practical sales training and proven prospecting techniques to build confidence, develop strong client relationships, and accelerate their success in the independent insurance industry.
